Os Três Sistemas: Entre a Tirania do Estado e a Indiferença do Mercado

Olhar para a história política é confrontar um ciclo de ilusões e opressões. O fascismo nunca escondeu a sua natureza: foi o lobo implacável, a violência pura e o autoritarismo despido de máscaras que esmagou a liberdade humana.

O comunismo real, contudo, refinou a armadilha. Vestiu a pele de cordeiro, seduzindo as massas com promessas de igualdade utópica para, nos bastidores do poder, instalar regimes totalitários que asfixiaram o próprio povo. Ambos sacrificaram o indivíduo em nome do controlo absoluto.Hoje, enfrentamos uma ameaça mais subtil, mas igualmente devastadora: o neo-liberalismo.

Ao entronizar o mercado e o lucro como deuses soberanos, este modelo mercantilizou a nossa própria existência. Sob a bandeira de uma falsa liberdade individual, destrói os laços de solidariedade e transforma direitos fundamentais — como a saúde e a educação — em privilégios de quem pode pagar. Quem não gera lucro é descartado, transformado na "ovelha negra" de um sistema que normaliza a desigualdade e pune a vulnerabilidade.Não podemos continuar a aceitar a escolha entre a tirania do Estado e a indiferença do mercado.

É hora de despertar para uma verdadeira Democracia Humanista. Exigir o restabelecimento de um Welfare State forte e renovado não é um ideal utópico, é uma urgência civilizacional. A economia deve, obrigatoriamente, estar ao serviço da dignidade humana. Só quando assumirmos a Justiça Social como um dever coletivo intransigente é que deixaremos de ser presas ou marginais deste sistema, construindo uma sociedade onde cada ser humano tem o direito elementar de prosperar.

O Fascismo era mau, o comunismo, idem, o Neoliberalismo não fica atrás. Os primeiros eram o lobo, os segundos, um lobo com pele de cordeiro, e por fim, os terceiros, são uma ovelha negra.

Eu creio que só nos valerá uma verdadeira Democracia Humanista que permita a Justiça Social e que restabeleça um novo Welfare State.

The Three Systems: Between State Tyranny and Market Indifference

Looking at political history means confronting a cycle of illusions and oppressions. Fascism never hid its true nature: it was the relentless wolf, pure violence, and unmasked authoritarianism that crushed human freedom.

Real communism, however, refined the trap. It wore sheep's clothing, seducing the masses with promises of a utopian equality only to install, behind the scenes of power, totalitarian regimes that suffocated their own people. Both sacrificed the individual in the name of absolute control. Today, we face a more subtle but equally devastating threat: neo-liberalism.

By enthroning the market and profit as sovereign gods, this model has commodified our very existence. Under the banner of a false individual freedom, it destroys the bonds of solidarity and transforms fundamental rights — such as healthcare and education — into privileges for those who can afford them. Those who do not generate profit are discarded, turned into the "black sheep" of a system that normalizes inequality and punishes vulnerability. We cannot continue to accept the choice between State tyranny and market indifference.

It is time to awaken to a true Humanist Democracy. Demanding the restoration of a strong and renewed Welfare State is not a utopian ideal; it is a civilizational urgency. The economy must, obligatorily, be at the service of human dignity. Only when we embrace Social Justice as an uncompromising collective duty will we stop being prey or outcasts of this system, building a society where every human being has the elementary right to thrive.

Fascism was evil, communism likewise, and Neoliberalism is no better. The first was the wolf, the second a wolf in sheep's clothing, and finally, the third is a black sheep. I believe our only salvation lies in a true Humanist Democracy that enables Social Justice and restores a new Welfare State.
